These are the puzzle games North Star students play between contests — prime numbers hidden inside a map-colouring puzzle, fractions you have to land on exactly, a nonogram whose clues are little calculations. Every one of them is built around a piece of real mathematics rather than a timer and a leaderboard.
You can play the first level of any game right here, with no account and nothing to install. Each puzzle is generated fresh, so a game is never the same twice, and you can check your answer as many times as you like. Most suit students in grades 2 through 8, and the levels get harder as you go.
