My child's school already participates — do I need this?
If your school runs North Star Contests as a class, your child is already covered at the Free level. This page is for families who want more — extra contests, recognition, or test prep — beyond what the school provides.
What happens at the end of the season?
Passes cover the full 2026–27 season and don't renew automatically. You'll get a season summary at the end, and you decide separately next year — no auto-billing, ever.
Can I switch tiers?
Yes. Start with Contest Pass and upgrade to Season Pass any time — your $29 is credited in full toward the $119 price.
How do siblings work?
Each child needs their own pass, but the price drops as your family grows: second child and beyond are 40% off, applied automatically at checkout.
What is the AI tutor and is my child's data safe?
The AI Math Tutor looks at where your child got stuck and walks through the approach — not just the answer. It only sees practice activity, is never shared or sold, and follows our privacy policy.
What is the CCAT7, NGAT and is this right for my child's grade?
CCAT7, NGAT and similar tests are cognitive/gifted screening tests that some schools and boards use for gifted-program admission. The Prep Pack is built for students preparing for one of them, at any JK–8 grade.
